    From late Saturday morning to Saturday evening expected much lightninh in conjunction with rain showers across the southeastern part of Norway. The thunderstorms will arise at first in Agder and Telemark, and later move northeast. Most intense thunder storm activity is expected during the afternoon. There will be large variations in intensity and some places will not experience any thunder storms at all.

    InstructionsStay up to date on the development of the weather and the weather forecast. Monitor the weather radar or lyn.met.no. Assess the need for preventive measures. Disconnect electrical appliances. Adjust driving speed according to the road/weather conditions.

    ConsequencesThunderstorms can lead to locally strong wind gusts. Locally heavy rain showers. Danger of damage to object(s) as a result of lightning strikes. The power supply and TV / internet may be affected. Hail can occur and can e.g. provide transient slippery roads. Bigger hail can cause damage, e.g. to cars and crop.
